How a land freight shipment works

1. Enquiry and routing. Tell us the origin, destination, cargo dimensions, weight and urgency. We evaluate the best route, mode (FTL or LTL), and border-crossing options, then provide a clear quote.
2. Carrier selection and booking. We select from our network of vetted Lebanese and regional carriers and issue the booking with a CMR road consignment note.
3. Loading and pre-departure check. Cargo is loaded, secured and verified against the packing list. All cross-border documents are finalised before the truck departs.
4. Export customs clearance. Our brokers file the Lebanese export declaration and prepare the full document set. See customs clearance.
5. Border transit. We liaise with customs agents at each border crossing, monitoring dwell times and communicating any delays.
6. Delivery and proof of delivery. The carrier delivers to the consignee’s door. We share a signed proof of delivery and, where relevant, an updated chain-of-custody record.
