All-mode charters are freight arrangements where you take exclusive use of a transport asset, an aircraft, a vessel or a road convoy, rather than sharing scheduled capacity with other shippers. Charters eliminate competition for space, give you full control over the departure date, and allow cargo dimensions and weights that scheduled services simply cannot accommodate. Air charter from Lebanon

Air charter is the fastest way to move cargo when scheduled flights cannot guarantee the space, timing or routing you need. From Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, our airport cargo office coordinates:

• Full freighter charters, the entire aircraft is yours, from nose to tail. Suitable for large project lifts, military and humanitarian aid, and time-critical bulk cargo.
• Part charters (block space), you buy a defined section of a dedicated freighter, ideal when a full aircraft would be undersold but scheduled groupage is too slow or too small.
• AOG emergency charters, aviation spare parts require wheels-up in hours, not days. We maintain charter-broker contacts across Europe, the Gulf and Asia to source aircraft at speed.
• Out-of-gauge and outsize cargo, items that exceed standard aircraft hold dimensions, from industrial rollers to satellite components, moved on widebody freighters with appropriate loading equipment.

Sea charter from Lebanon

When cargo volume, weight or dimension rules out container shipping, or when you need a vessel to yourself, we arrange sea charters departing from Lebanese ports:

• Voyage charter (single trip), the vessel is chartered for one specific voyage from origin to destination. The most common choice for one-off project cargoes.
• Trip charter, similar to a voyage charter but defined by a trip rather than a cargo, giving more flexibility on loading ports.
• Part charter / breakbulk booking, for project cargo that needs dedicated space but does not fill a whole vessel, we book breakbulk or heavy-lift berths on suitable ships.

Sea charters work in close conjunction with our sea freight and project cargo services. A heavy transformer, a pre-fabricated module or a fleet of construction vehicles can often be consolidated into a single voyage charter that is cheaper per tonne than piecemeal breakbulk bookings.

Land charter from Lebanon

Road charters provide an exclusive truck or convoy for cross-border deliveries where scheduled groupage would add unacceptable transit time or where cargo dimensions exceed standard trailers. We organise:

• Single-vehicle charters, curtainsiders, flatbeds, low-loaders and refrigerated trailers for dedicated point-to-point runs within Lebanon and across the region.
• Heavy-haul convoys, multi-axle platforms with police escort for machinery, transformers and out-of-gauge industrial equipment moving overland.
• Border permits and escort, road convoys crossing multiple borders require special transport permits from Lebanese authorities and each transit country; we manage the permit process through our regional partner network.

Land charters integrate naturally with our land freight service and are often the final leg of a sea or air charter movement when cargo arrives at a port and must be delivered to an inland project site.

How a charter shipment works, step by step

1. Enquiry. Tell us your cargo details (commodity, weight, dimensions, hazard class if applicable), desired origin, destination and the required cargo-ready date.
2. Charter market search. We approach aircraft operators, ship-owners or heavy-haul carriers and return indicative rates and availability, usually within a few hours for air and road, 24-48 hours for sea.
3. Option and confirmation. Once you approve, we place an option on the asset and request final confirmation. For air charters this locks in the aircraft tail and crew.
4. Cargo preparation. We advise on packing and lashing requirements specific to the chosen mode, and arrange any special loading equipment.
5. Documentation and customs. Our brokers handle Lebanese export customs clearance and prepare the transport document, air waybill, bill of lading or CMR. See customs clearance for detail on Lebanese formalities.
6. Transport and monitoring. We manage the movement from loading to discharge, providing real-time status updates.
7. Delivery and close-out. At destination, our agent network manages import clearance and final delivery to site, and we reconcile the final freight invoice against the charter contract.

• Production emergency, a factory line is down because one critical machine part failed. An air charter can deliver the replacement in hours from any global supplier.
• Project deadline, a construction window closes in days. A sea or land charter guarantees the equipment arrives before the crane and crew are demobilised.
• Oversized cargo, a 200-tonne transformer cannot travel by container or standard freighter belly hold. A breakbulk vessel or heavy-lift charter is the only option.
• Confidential shipment, some cargoes (valuable goods, sensitive equipment) cannot be co-loaded with unknown third parties. A full charter is the clean solution.
• Peak-season overflow, when scheduled airline or vessel capacity is exhausted and your cargo simply cannot wait for the next available sailing or flight.
